driving test costs - theory and practical

The costs of taking the UK driving test are :

Theory test costs £31.

Practical driving test costs £62 or £75 if you want to take the test at the weekend.

There is an extended practical driving test if get yourself disqualified and have to retake the driving test — it costs £124 (or £150 if you want to take the test at the weekend).

Getting disqualified in your first 2 years of holding your licence only needs you to get 6 points on your licence, rather than the usual 12. So that's 3 points for speeding (35mph in a 30mph zone, for example) and then you're caught driving while talking on your mobile … easy really.

But it's easy to keep it too — drive responsibly and you'll be fine.
